Amazing Grace International

Amazing Grace International is over fifteen years old and often works in areas where churches cannot formally do so. For all its history, AGI has had a contract with the newspaper USA TODAY to advertise Bible correspondence courses each week in the Classified part of its "Life" section. Additionally, in its early days, it presented social commentary from a Biblical perspective also in that newspaper. It is the only program among churches of Christ to have a weekly presence in a mainline national media outlet. Thousands of students from every State have taken the course. In the first half of 2007, over 800 courses were graded. During the same period, 43 students graduated from the 8-lesson program that includes surveys of the Old and New Testamnents, a look at the Church, biblical interpretation, the Life of Christ and the Christian lifestyle. The course is offered in Spanish and English, in print and on the internet (www.amazinggraceinternational.com). AGI also oversees a special project known as "Tom's Kids," an effort to educate children in Vietnam. AGI is directed as a Virginia non-profit corporation by its founder, Mike Tune.
